3D Art Tutoring

Summer Studio 2026

This August we are hosting Summer Studios! An extended class with groups of 1-5 students working on a joint diorama project. The day is organised so that by the end, everyone will have created 1 or 2 assets around the same theme to be put into a collaborative diorama. This diorama will then be 3D printed and so everyone involved gets their own real life version of the project. Everyone participating in this will also achieve a CREST Discover Award!

How the day is structured:

11:30: Introduction to the project + brainstorming for the diorama

12:00: Foundational modelling skills 101

13:00: Lunchtime

13:45: Creating assets

15:30: Putting everyone's assets together into the scene

16:00: Finished project!

Who is it for?

  • These sessions are suitable for anyone aged 10-14

  • Everyone is welcome WITH OR WITHOUT experience!*

  • Anyone interested in 3D modelling or the associated industries

    • Video games​

    • Film

    • VFX

    • Animation

*If you have never had 1-1 Blender tutoring with me previously, we will arrange a free 30ish minute "set-up session" at some point before the day of the class, to iron out any potential technical issues!

What do I need?

  • A computer or laptop capable of running Blender

  • Webcam + Microphone Optional​​​

    • Ideally your computer/laptop will have a webcam and microphone, however this is optional and there will be a chat function so anyone not able to talk on the microphone will still be able to participate in group idea generating​

  • Stable internet connection​

  • Siblings are welcome to join the same session if they have individual devices. Otherwise, they will need to book onto a different day

What do I achieve?
 

  • A collaboratively made 3D diorama

  • A CREST Discover Award Certificate (Learn more at: https://www.crestawards.org/)

  • A 3D print of the diorama sent to you via post!

  • The full day costs £140pp. This fee is all inclusive of:

  • Small group 3D art tutoring

  • CREST Award admin fees

  • 3D print of the diorama

  • Postage

  • Payment can be made via the booking page

  • If existing or prior students wish to pay via the usual PayPal link please send an email letting me know you have sent payment via PayPal and which date you'd like to book on to
